England is a unique and historic country with much notoriety. This country has a variety of items across various sectors that give the locals pride. Ranging from the music and shopping to the large attractions, England is known for it’s unique lust coupled with its’ rich history.

Some of the largest selling artists are from England. Bands such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Oasis, the Spice Girls, One Direction, and Queen all started in England. No matter the decade, brilliant artists with much notoriety develop from here.

Many famous legends and important literary works were all created out of England. For example, William Shakespeare created many of his works such as Romeo and Juliet and a Midsummer’s Night Dream and performed them at the famous Globe Theatre. Other famous sites the country is known for include the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Parliament.

Every year the renowned Wimbledon, a large tennis competition with the best players from around the world, occurs in London. In 2012, the Olympics took place in London, this was a huge moment for those from England because of the success  and amount of medals their national team took home.

The people of England have much pride in their country and have undying support for their largest icons. Some of the largest news titles over the past year have all come from England. Currently, some of their largest icons include David Beckham, the Queen, Princess Kate and Prince William, and Ricky Gervais.

Talking to people on the streets, the one thing I really took notice of was how passionate the people are about their country. Their veins run thick with national pride. I mainly chose the SEAM tour just for the opportunity to go back to London and interact with the locals. Their passion was contagious and made me what to participate in as many activities as possible.
