First – let’s go back to the beginning……
My name is Johnell Woody, a graduate student at Kennesaw State University. I’m inviting you to follow along with our adventures, experiences, insights and oversights in Belgium.
Nine members of Cohort II, Master of Arts in Integrated Global Communication arrived in Brussels, Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 8:55 AM, for a two week summer experience. A little travel weary, we first engaged in a coach ride from the airport to our hotel, stowed the luggage safely away, then took a preliminary tour of Brussels Central.
We come to experience other cultures first hand and to learn the differences in issues, nuances, and approaches to professional news and entertainment media, public relations, and governmental communications compared to American practices. Our agenda includes meeting with other scholars, global public relations giants, tour Parliament, visit the US Embassy, NATO, and the European Union. And, of course, to savor the chocolates, beer, and waffles!
Join us on our journey through this tiny, complex player on the world stage.
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
